iPECS Call Server is at the heart of the iPECS platform. This highly reliable purpose-built server controls and maintains communications between end-points and shared resources. You can select the Call Server to best meet your needs based on the size of the business from 2 to 500 users. Modular type iPECS Gateways, interface to an array of resources including analog, digital and SIP (VoIP) connections.
The simple modular structure yields flexible configurations and installations to meet your business needs now and in the future. The Call Server makes available an extensive set of telephony features. From basics (Hold, Transfer, etc.) to more advanced features (Least Cost Routing, Incoming call Distribution, SIP trunking, etc.)

Voicemail and Messaging
The IPECS server includes an integrated Voicemail system offering 270mins of recording time for announcements and user voice messages. Messages can be forwarded to other users and can include a preamble, callers number as well as time and date. Voicemails can be manually downloaded and played on your computer or automatically sent to your email or mobile phone.
The Automated Attendant allows you to have a welcome message when a customer calls giving the option for the customer to choose the correct department for their call. The IPECS Call Server can also intelligently monitor any queuing calls and can give callers information on their place in the queue – a proven way to decrease customer frustration. The system can also play customized on-hold messages to callers, often used as an additional way of marketing to your customers or providing additional information.
Multi site telecoms
Whether your need is to connect remote home office users or multiple branch offices, IPECS networking delivers a simple and secure solution. For the basic remote home office, simply install an IP phone on a local internet connection for transparent access to the IPECS call server. For the more advanced remote user with fax and local line access needs, you can add a Remote Gateway.
Interconnect multiple small offices over your WAN and a Centralised Control Network and achieve transparent communications under control of a single central Call Server. In larger environments, you can use the Distributed Control Network and link up to 70 IPECS Call Servers over your existing Network.
Your traveling employees need not be out of touch, wherever they have an IP connection they can connect to the office system to place and receive calls and messages.
Unified communication solutions
iPECS UCS is a PC based application, which operates in conjunction with the iPECS Call Server. iPECS UCS Server simply integrates all of your modes of communications into a single graphical user interface to dramatically improve business productivity and customer responsiveness.
In addition to the rich voice services available from the iPECS, UCS users are provided access to a wide range of video, text and graphic collaborative and messaging services.
All the functional modules, IM (Instant Messaging), Video Conference, Shared and Private directories, ICR, etc., are included in a single server application, improving performance, lowering costs and reducing maintenance. Additionally, traffic analysis of the various UCS functions permits the communication manager to easily analyze use of each module and adjust the environment appropriately.
UCS also operates and synchronizes with major personal information management applications and databases such as Outlook, ACT!, Goldmine and Excel. The user interface is highly flexible and can be customized to address the needs of the individual user. As an IP solution, UCS overcomes geographical limitations, allowing access to services and databases of the UCS Server while in the office or on the road.
