A Local Phone Number can be "pointed" to any phone number immediately for free.  You use your existing phone number as normal and calls will be directed to as required.  In addition, more complicated routing plans can be set up and controlled by yourself using DTMF.

Your Local Phone Number will automatically follow any diverts set up on your landline. For example if you routinely divert incoming calls to your mobile when you leave your office then inbound calls to your landline made on your Local Phone Number will follow the divert to your mobile.
